Capri

A common passion among Marina residents is love of the water and boating. Therefore, the design for Capri Apartments was inspired by the surrounding environment. Like the sea, architectural elements are layered to create a rhythm of solid planes and recessions. The ocean and sky are reflected in the shimmering light blue glass used in the windows and balconies. Seaweed and sand are evoked in the green and yellow colored plaster. Boat masts are mimicked in the white window frames and aluminum canopies. A visual connection with the marina is preserved through the site plan which maximizes views from units and public spaces. Capri was the recipient of a 2006 Gold Nugget Merit award.
