Penn Station

Projects
Location: Santa Monica, CA

Daylight and industrial materials were key elements in the transformation of this underutilized warehouse into creative workspace. Factory-style windows were installed throughout the exterior of the building to improve the overall building aesthetic. Rooftop clerestories were added to flood the interior with natural light – especially important to the high-volume space. Metal mesh overhangs, exposed brick walls, corrugated steel canopies, structural elements and raw steel staircases work together to create a building highly desirable to firms engaged in creative businesses.
