Vue

Named for its unmatched views of the waterfront and Palos Verdes Peninsula, Vue was inspired by the nearby Port of Los Angeles. Rectangular blocks mimic stacked containers. Vertical elements take their cues from cranes. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls in blue-green and yellow glass symbolize the ocean and sky. The layout was choreographed to create interaction between residents and the public, promoting a sense of community and creating a great pedestrian experience designed to activate this neighborhood in transition. The Vue is the recipient of a 2009 Gold Nugget Merit Award.
